You might find this a bit odd, but actually, there are two levels during potty training. The first level of potty training is when you let your child quit using the disposable diapers. When should you begin implementing this? You should begin as soon as possible, even when your child still doesn’t know how to stand up on his own. Don’t mind if your child keeps on crying each time he feels wet and uncomfortable because he soiled himself, in a few weeks time, he will realize that he can control himself, so he will begin to stay dry longer. The second level of potty training is when you will have the potty seat and you will formally instruct your child how to use the potty seat or the toilet seat (with kiddie cushion and stepping stool of course). Remember, the earlier you let go of the disposable diapers, the faster it will be to potty train your child.
