I hate it when I am on my own in the house as something always goes wrong. It could be a light bulb goes pop or the television goes off or my Virgin Media login decides to not work. I think people seem to think I just imagine it sometimes but I am telling you, the last person can walk out of the door and as soon as I am on my own, things happen! Last week, I was left on my own as my partner was away on business and there was only little old me left! I came out of my bath to watch television when all of a sudden there was a loud pop, the television went off, the lights went off and mostly everything in the house went off! I checked the consumer box and there had been a power cut. There had been lovely weather but warnings of a storm on its way. The problem I had now is that I was on my own, frightened to death of lightning and the storm was on its way!
